Winchmore Hill Residents Association is a non-political group run by residents, who seek to protect the quality of life in Winchmore Hill, now and for future generations

Membership of the Association

At the relaunch we did not request membership subscriptions as we wanted to build up the membership and there were funds in the bank account available for our relaunch and to allow us to promote the association through a series of newsletters, leaflets, posters and two AGMs. We kept costs to an absolute minimum however we now need to make sure we have sufficient reserves to carry on with what we are doing but also to allow us to consider new ideas and projects that need funding.

We currently have over 600 members up from the 250 members who we inherited when we took over the running of the association. We hope that as many of our existing members and anyone who is a potential new member coming to this page for the first time will make a donation of £5 or more if you feel able to per person or family for the year.

IF YOU ARE AN EXISTING MEMBER PLEASE CLICK HERE TO PAY YOUR MEMBERSHIP DONATION

IF YOU ARE A NEW MEMBER AND THAT MEANS SOMEONE WHO HAS NEVER BEEN A MEMBER OR ISN’T ON OUR EMAIL LIST PLEASE SEE BELOW:

Please click here to go to the Online Membership Application Form. Once you have filled this out then there will be a link on the confirmation page to go to the membership payment page. If you don’t see this or forgot to click it please click here to make your donation.

Although we would ask everyone who possibly can to fill out the online form and make their payment by Paypal or bank transfer we do understand there are some people for whom this is not possible. Click here to go the print version of the form which is a pdf (this opens in a new window or tab). Please then post or drop this in to WHRA 20 The Green, London, N21 1AY. If you want to pay your membership donation by cheque then please include this with your membership form with a cheque made payable to “Winchmore Hill Residents Association”.

Residents’ associations are effective as they carry the weight of opinion of all their members and this is recognised by many organisations and the Council.

We are consulted about ideas and proposals prior to their implementation and we are in the forefront of bringing the Council’s attention to various matters which affect the residents and their activities.

Benefits of membership are:

  • Involvement in community issues
  • A clear voice direct to your Councillors and MP
  • Clear information on current issues
  • Getting to know your neighbours and the wider community
  • Community events

We look forward to your support in becoming a member, as the more members we have the greater our influence.
